happy b-day blog

happy b-day blog, originally uploaded by eastaltus.

finishedline is one year old. Hurray!
Aahh the memories.

I will have a piece in the Mission Creek Art Festival on May 17th. Lots of snazzy participants will have comic and graphic work on display at QueensNailsAnnex gallery (3191 Mission at Valencia) celebrating the comic and graphic novel mediums. Portions of the proceeds will benefit 826 Valencia's cartooning programs.
Please come, it won't be the same without you.

Thanks guys, next thing you know blog will be walking and talking, then its off to school and friends, the calls will be fewer and farther between, then blogs of its own, fences and mower mortgages and regret. Then its the bottle for me.

In a cruel twist of fate, I ought to be a father on May 17th, whilst you are celibrating an art fest and a new(ish) blog. Then I shall turn my face to the future you have outlined above - and walk thusly.

Tally ho.

(PS - mr. capobianco has been replying to my questions about mackendrick on his blog. Just go to his second post ever and check the comments. So far it's just been me shooting my mouth off, but if/when he resurfaces, it should get better.)

PPS Happy B-Day Finished Line! Again.

Congratulations to you and the missus!
I will have a cigar on Wed! (try to leave out the future I outlined. Blog and I are in group therapy and feel we may have a more productive outcome. The mower I am still excited about tho.)

Congrats, Ric! Yes, soon your little blog will start having little blogs of his own and only then will you be allowed to babysit.

It's a great blog you've got here, with fantastic work! Wish I could attend the festival, but being that I'm about 3,000 miles away, I'll just have to resort on being there vicariously.

Looking forward to many more years for your blog!
